Since first being elected in 2018, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Council, residents, and community partners to strengthen Brooks. Together, we’ve focused on smart growth, strong finances, and creating opportunities that make life better for everyone.

Here’s a snapshot of what we achieved together:

• Low debt & healthy reserves ($23M+)

• Award-winning financial reporting every year since 2007

🛠️ Building for the Future

• Major road & water upgrades (2025 resurfacing, Cassils Rd water main)

• New Skateboard Park under construction

• Improvements to the Water Park & Dog Park

🏘️ Housing & Growth

• New Build Incentives (2023): tax breaks, fee waivers, lot discounts

• Attracting projects like Cira Homes & Wellings of Brooks

🌐 Competitive & Connected

• BrooksNET fibre network completed (2024) → more choice, better internet, stronger economy

🌎 Welcoming & Safe

• Taste of Nations & Inclusion Awards celebrate diversity and belonging

• Regular RCMP reporting keeps us safe & accountable

I’m proud of what we accomplished together, and we’re not done yet. The progress we’ve made is a foundation to build on, and I remain committed to continuing the work of helping Brooks grow stronger, more connected, and more sustainable for the future.
